The mission of Berkeley's College and Career Day is to create a college going culture where all students are prepared for a full range of post-secondary options through

           Structural

                             Experiential

college preparatory experiences. Students will engage in college promoting activities designed to inspire and promote post-secondary pathway planning.

Participants

College and Career Day is a community-wide effort spearheaded by the Berkeley Alliance. The goal of College and Career Day is to create a college-going culture in the City of Berkeley and help our children and youth visualize and plan post-secondary option pathways. This happens when educators, youth workers, parents and other adults engage children in conversations, lessons, and other college and career promoting activities.

This year our goal is to have at least 5,000 Berkeley students participate in activities that promote college and career aspirations. We are inviting people from all walks of life to share their educational and career journey with children, students, and co-workers, as we celebrate, inspire, and promote vital post-secondary options for all.
